- Branch Postmaster (BPM): Responsible for day-to-day postal operations of the Branch Post Office (B.O) and India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) as prescribed by the Department.
- Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM): Handles the sale of stamps/stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at the doorstep, exchanges mail with the account office, and facilitates deposits, payments, and other transactions of IPPB.
- Dak Sevak: Engaged in departmental offices like Sub Post Offices and Head Post Offices.

Selection Process
Merit List Criteria:
- Prepared based on 10th standard marks.
- Conversion of Grades/Points to Marks will be done with accuracy up to four decimal places.
- Passing all subjects as per board norms is mandatory.
- Candidates with both marks and grades must apply with marks only; otherwise, the application will be disqualified.
